A new outdoor art space – the ‘Imagination Station’ – is now in place in Dunolly.

The ‘Imagination Station’ was funded by the Australian Council for the Arts three year Arts Central project which was delivered in 2015.

The Imagination Station has been installed in the Rene Fox Gardens in Dunolly and will showcase community-made artwork.

In 2015 Central Goldfields Shire residents were invited to have their say on public art – the feedback was positive and residents wanted to see art in public places and wanted to participate in collaborative art-making.

It’s the second Imagination Station in the Central Goldfields Shire with the other location being the Maryborough Resource Centre and another to be situated in Talbot at a later date.
