A BUSY TIME OF YEAR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Did you know the Central Goldfields Shire Council’s Customer Service team receives more than 250 phone calls and welcomes 150 counter visitors every week?

Our Customer Service team provides support to approximately 13,000 residents - whether it be by phone or in person.

With rate notices now being delivered, these figures can double with rates time the busiest period of the year for our Customer Service team.

Central Goldfields Shire Council Chief Administrator Noel Harvey said Council’s Customer Service team provided a key role in supporting the delivery of more than 100 Council services, programs and information.

“Our Customer Service team has an extensive knowledge of all areas of Council and are here to assist our residents by recording their service requests and providing information on Council services and programs.

“During rates time we ask that residents be mindful of the busy period and be patient when calling the team – rest assured they are doing everything they can to respond to your enquiry as quickly as possible.”
