Works by iconic Australian artists Arthur Boyd and Pro Hart will feature in the first Central Goldfields Art Gallery exhibition for 2018.
The ‘Gallery collection exhibition’ will officially open to the public on Thursday 11 January at 10am until Sunday 18 February.
Central Goldfields Shire Chief Administrator Noel Harvey said the exhibition will feature the Gallery’s wonderful and diverse collection of artwork.
“The Gallery is fortunate to own an extensive collection of works by artists including Arthur Boyd, Pro Hart, Ray Crooke and Dean Bowen as well as works by artists from across our region.
“Entry to our Gallery is free so if you haven’t visited recently this is a great chance to experience our fantastic collection first-hand.”
Central Goldfields Art Gallery is located at the Old Fire Station, Neill Street, Maryborough and is open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
