Central Goldfields Shire residents are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas for the future of the local community, as part of the Have your Say campaign to be officially launched tomorrow.
The feedback provided will inform a refresh of the Council Plan and other future strategic planning work.
To make it quick and easy for residents to get involved a postcard has been produced that features space on the back for residents to provide responses to the following questions:
Postcards have been distributed across the Shire with feedback boxes for residents to return their postcards to us.
Residents can also have their say online via the following link: https://bit.ly/2GcNFX2
Central Goldfields Shire Administrators Noel Harvey, Karen Douglas and Hugh Delahunty will also conduct listening posts across the Shire as part of the process.
Residents are encouraged to attend any of the following Listening Posts sessions:
Wednesday 4 April
Monday 9 April
Central Goldfields Shire Chief Administrator Noel Harvey said the Have Your Say campaign was an open invitation for the community to join the discussion and share their ideas with us.
“The campaign provides residents of all ages with a quick and easy platform to provide feedback, no matter what their age or location.
“Your thoughts and ideas will help us build a road map that will guide this Council as we update the Council Plan and develop an extensive amount of strategic planning work over the next three years.
“I encourage all residents to join the discussion by taking a few minutes to complete a postcard and returning it.”
The Have your Say campaign will run for four weeks during April. Feedback will be made available to the community in May/June
