A BUMPER PROGRAM OF EVENTS IN AUGUST AT THE LIBRARY

The Maryborough Regional Library is the place to be this August, with a jam packed program of events on offer for all ages.

Author Talk with Stacey McCoy

Saturday 5 August

Crossword Puzzle Challenge

10am to 12noon

Join us to complete the 2017 Words in Winter Clever Towns. Attempt to solve one clue of more while competing against other Goldfields Libraries. Come for the morning or just pop in. Official challenge starts at 10am. The crossword is comprised of general knowledge questions to be completed using only Library books.

 

Tuesday 15 August

Silent Reading Party

6 to 7.30pm

Join us after hours at the Maryborough Library for Silent Reading followed by a Book Chat. BYO book or grab one from the shelf. No cost and supper provided. 

 

Wednesday 23 August and Friday 25 August

Children’s Book Week celebration

11 to 11.45am both dates

Come along dressed as your favourite book character to a special Book Week story time and craft session. Free entry and bookings not required.

 

Friday 25 August

Fourth annual Stuffed Animal Sleep-Over

6 to 7pm

Bring along your favourite stuffed animal or toy (one per child) for a special after-hours pyjama story-time. After the story-time, you can leave your stuffed animal to enjoy a fun-filled over-night slumber party at the Library. Come back to collect them between 9.30am and 12noon the next morning and receive photos from their overnight Library adventure. Please arrive and be seated prior to 6pm. Bookings essential please call 5461 1950.
