SUPPORTED PLAYGROUP LAUNCHES FOR TERM THREE

Would you like to have fun, meet other parents/carers with young children and learn and share some tips to encourage your child’s learning and development?

 

The Central Goldfields Shire’s Supported Playgroup has launched its program for Term 3 last week, offering lots of options for local families.

 

Mondays

 

Laptime (for parents/carers with babies) at Maryborough Regional Library from 10 to 11am.

 

Wednesdays

 

Dunolly Preschool from 9.30 to 11.30am.

 

Thursdays

 

Playgroup Maryborough Salvation Army Complex from 9.30 to11.30am.

 

Fridays

 

Playgroup at Maryborough Education Centre 11am to 1pm.

 

Central Goldfields Shire Chief Administrator Noel Harvey said that children learn life skills from attending playgroup.

 

“Playgroup is essential for allowing children to develop social skills and build emotional confidence while also encouraging physical activity, supporting children’s imagination and creativity and learning through role play,” he said.
