The Maryborough Town Bus service is operated by Maryborough Transit, and provides a bus service in and around Maryborough, with passenger numbers reflecting a high level of community support. The local community should be congratulated for their ongoing support of this service.
The town bus service operator, Graeme Lean and his drivers have dedicated themselves to providing a great service to the community. Passengers with shopping or mobility aids are welcome on board, and many have commented on the level of independence the bus service has given them.
Normal operating hours of the Maryborough Town Bus Service are;
Monday-Friday - Between 7:15am and 3:00pm, and also between 5:00pm and 6:15pm
Saturday - Between 7:00am and 1:00pm, and also between 5:00pm and 6:15pm

An hourly loop of four (4) routes departs and finishes at the main bus terminus in Napier Street Maryborough. Timetables are available at the Central Goldfields Shire Office, the Maryborough Resource/Visitor Information Centre, and on board the bus. A timetable is also available on the Viclink website - www.viclink.com.au.
2 hour tickets cost $1 for children and concession card holders and $2 for adults, and are available to purchase on board the bus. A 2 hour ticket starts from the hour after purchase, so a ticket purchased at 9:15 am will last until 12 Noon.
We rely on continuing community support to show the need for this service in the long term. Please continue to use and enjoy this service!
