Central Goldfields Shire has a waste management system that is easy to use; reduces waste to landfill; and encourages recycling.

Council provides urban and rural waste management and recycling collection services, together with a hard waste/green waste collection option.

Waste collection

Council has a colour coded waste collection system, which is in line with Victorian standards. It incorporates the collection of waste, recycling and green waste. Hard waste collection
