WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Delivering outcomes for our economic future

Workforce Development

Central Goldfields Shire is committed to the development of a workforce that meets the needs of our local businesses and provides opportunities for all members of our community.  The Go Goldfields Alliance supports the shire wide Workforce Development Plan to help better coordinate the efforts and strategies of our local education providers, services and businesses for this purpose.

A Workforce Development Action Group comprising of local business leaders and community members, as well as representation from Council and the Central Goldfields Business Group, have joined to progress this work with a strong focus on work readiness and economic participation. The Go Goldfields Alliance has appointed a facilitator to assist this group and to coordinate this work with other community and Go Goldfields initiatives.
